Bio

Senator Shay Shelnutt was elected to the Alabama Senate in 2014 and again in 2018.

Senator Shelnutt was born on September 21, 1967 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Senator Shelnutt is a realtor receiving his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Montevallo and a Masters of Education in Math from the University of Montevallo.

Senator Shelnutt is a member of Palmerdale United Methodist Church and his interests include his family, his church and all sports.
