This act amends Section 27-10-24, Code of Alabama 1975, to: (1) require that an application for a license as a surplus line broker must be submitted on a form designated by the Commissioner of Insurance; (2) specify that the application fee be paid to the commissioner; and (3) provide for the expiration of a license on December 31 next after its issue.
