Bio

Representative Steve Hurst was elected in 1998.

Representative Hurst is a graduate of Talladega High School. He is a businessman and is also employed with Georgia Pacific Corporation. Representative Hurst is also a member of the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, the Talladega County Chamber of Commerce, and a former Talladega County Commissioner.

He and his wife, Linda, are the parents of three children: Michael, Kenneth, and Vance.
