Representative Bob Fincher was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives on November 4, 2014.
Representative Fincher lives at Rocky Branch in Randolph County and is a graduate of Auburn University.
He is a retired teacher having spent 31 years in public schools teaching government, economics, and history. Representative Fincher then spent another five years as a teacher and administrator at a private school.
He has been married to the former Sheila Herren of Newell for 36 years and they have two sons, Brandon and Stephen.
Representative Fincher is a member of the Bear Creek United Methodist Church.
