Bio

Representative Allen Treadaway was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in November 2006.

 

He was born on September 25, 1961 and received his Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission from the Birmingham Police Academy. Representative Treadaway retired as the Assistant Police Chief (10-2020) with the City of Birmingham, Alabama.

He is a past president of the Birmingham Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 1, recognized as the Officer of the Year (1992) by the City of Birmingham and the Most Outstanding Member of the Year (2004-2005) by the Alabama State Fraternal Order of Police.

Representative Treadaway is a past director of Toys for Tots.

He and his wife, Susan, are the parents of five children: Kelsey, Erin, Tyler, Ally and Cody.
